Description

El Deafo

Calling all superheroes and young readers!

You are cordially invited to a special Friends and Families Event at Scuppernong Books on Thursday, November 10th. Join us for your chance to meet author/illustrator Cece Bell and read her newest book El Deafo. You know...going to school and making new friends can be tough. But going to school while wearing a bulky hearing aid strapped to your chest? Now that requires superpowers! Gather around as Cece Bell reads El Deafo, shares about her experiences growing up with hearing loss and brings out your inner superhero!
